Through my years of being in the healing and performance world, I have seen our society continue to digress in regards to health. We are more de-evolved and sicker than we have ever been. Despite the technological advances, multitude of therapies and approaches we continue to get worse every year. A huge reason for this is because we are constantly sold "quick fixes" and "symptom reducing" care, which rarely solves the underlying problem. So the question for me, as a practitioner, has always been; How does one face their challenges to truly heal and what is truly essential to continually focus on as someone starts and progresses through their health journey and life?  

THE BACKSTORY

In chiropractic philosophy, the 33 Principles outline a foundational approach to understanding health and wellness, emphasizing the body's innate intelligence and its ability to self-heal. Each principle highlights a unique aspect of this philosophy, underscoring the connection between body, mind, and the nervous system. At P6 Healing and Movement, our approach is specifically rooted in Principle 6—the Principle of Time, which reminds us that all processes, particularly healing, require time. This principle reassures us that the body has an inherent capacity to heal itself and, given enough time and a clear nervous system, can overcome even the most challenging situations.

At P6, we believe that healing is a deeply intentional journey, one that requires time, dedication, and energy to reconnect with oneself—a vital component of true healing. While many view healing as purely physical, P6 extends beyond that, embodying the profound journey back to a state of wholeness and balance. Through Principle 6, we recognize that true healing involves more than simply alleviating symptoms; it encompasses fostering self-awareness, restoring harmony within, and cultivating resilience. By embracing P6, we honor the process of reconnection as one that demands patience, introspection, and commitment, with each step bringing us closer to a state of true health.
